Guide
Best language apps for beginners
For a true beginner, the best program is the one you will still be using in six weeks.
What decides this shortlist
- Gentle starting point
- Short sessions possible
- Clear path through the first weeks
We do not rank by commission, and we do not publish a score until our own hands-on testing is finished. Where a language list, price or refund term is unverified, we say so rather than guess.
