What this means

When a partner link on this site is live and you buy through it, the merchant may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way. We are not independent of commission, and we will not pretend to be — instead we tell you where the money comes from and how it is kept out of our editorial ordering.

How we keep it honest

• Ordering is based on fit and verified performance, never on commission alone.
